"I had the pleasure of working with Rob Stevens during the refurbishment project of the 1st floor Podium at 1 Eversholt Street NW1 2DN, part of the Euston Estates. As the Building Manager, I was particularly concerned for this project, considering that the building was fully occupied by approximately one thousand members of staff; however Rob’s performance as Project Manager was simply brilliant.
His organization and interpersonal skills made the running of the project extremely smooth and his awareness of the H&S procedures was impressive and very helpful for my line of work. Rob really proved himself on a particular occasion and precisely when hoist and scaffolding was needed to be installed in the external area of the building, in order to lift some AC units on the roof. Considering the position of the building being in a very busy area, as adjacent to Euston Station, the entire operation was a major concern to me.
However Rob dealt with the authorities, in the figures of Network Rail (the land owners) and Camden Council, in a very swiftly and professional manner and also logistically, the entire operation ran very smoothly. Throughout the course of the project, I’ve particularly appreciated Rob’s communication skills. He was constantly updating me on every development and schedule of works/deliveries so I could inform my tenants about any eventual, related disruptions.
He always made sure that his team followed the building’s rules and immediately addressed any of my concerns.
I would definitely work with Rob again and I strongly recommend him for any similar project."
